Does your county or local government make it easier or harder for you to have a horse farm?
Does YOUR county government help or hinder the establishment and maintenance of horse farms?
We need to know your story!
The Maryland Horse Council needs people from
every county in our state
to help as we sift through county ordinances and unfair practices that
property owners have confronted as they attempt to keep our state rural
and green with horse farms.
If you cannot attend this meeting
but know of problems in your area, please make sure that SOMEBODY
attends to represent your county.
This meeting is the kickoff of the Maryland Horse Council's
SAVE THE HORSE FARMS
campaign. We will compile data from across the state, make policy
recommendations for all counties, and help each county in its battle
for reform. We MUST know how EVERY county treats horse farms for this
critical effort.
